New video: sagebrush, climate change, and the greater sage-grouse

New video alert! In collaboration with the Alberta Conservation Association and US and Canadian government partners, we created a short video (our first!) about the changing northern sagebrush ecosystem. Learn how climate change may impact sagebrush near the Canadian-US border, and how climate vulnerability analyses can focus conservation efforts in climate-durable locations to preserve sagebrush communities and safeguard greater-sage grouse habitat in the next century.

An image of a male greater sage-grouse from our new video, “Sagebrush ecosystems are changing. What does this mean for the greater sage-grouse?”

Click here or on the photo above to watch it on CEG’s YouTube channel, or read up more about the research and results on our Recovering Populations project page. We appreciate the support from Mubadala and the Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund in making this video.
